FEMAP
FEMAP (Friends Emergency Material Assistance Program) is a Friends Organization based in High Point, North Carolina. FEMAP collects donated items to be put into Hygiene, Infant, School, and Farmworker Kits, as well as handmade afghans and hats, handmade baby and children’s clothing, and handmade teddy bears. FEMAP distributes those items to other local and national organizations that support those in need. FEMAP is run by volunteers and depends entirely on generous donations from individuals, Friends Meetings, and other Quaker Groups.
